Dealership: Earnhardt Toyota
Department: Service
Service Advisor: Mark Berkheimer
I brought our Prius in for a problem it was having last year and the mechanics/technicians found the battery had died in 5 years time. They said it wasn’t normal to have that happen. When I spoke with our service consultant, Mark Berkheimer, he said our warranty had expired only a matter of days earlier and that the total bill was over $5,000 to replace the battery and its computer but not to worry that he would call Toyota and see what kind of deal he could work out with them.
Within 24 hours he had called me back and let us know that Toyota had decided to pay for the battery themselves (waive the cost to us) and brought the bill down to just over $1500 for the computer. I just wanted to say how much I truly appreciated what he and you all did for us when we thought there was absolutely no hope for a good outcome. Just wanted to say that you probably have secured us as faithful customers for life. Your service is absolutely some of the best I have ever come across.
Thank you so very much!
